Mick Jagger 138 was painted while Warhol was at the height of fame. Warhol spent a lot of time with Jagger and his wife Bianca. He was was closest to their daughter, Jade, whom Andy taught how to paint. He produced this screenprint of Mick Jagger as part of a portfolio of 10 in 1975.

Andy Warhol was an influential American artist, filmmaker, painter, printmaker, sculptor, author, collector, and producer. He was born on August 6th, 1928, in Pittsburgh, US. He rose to fame in the 1960s for his Pop Art works that often featured iconic images from popular cultures, such as Campbell's Soup cans and Marilyn Monroe. His work has been exhibited worldwide and remains a major figure in contemporary modern art today. But what was his early life like before he became a famous artist?
