The painting (2022, mixed media on canvas, 50 x 50 cm) is a critical examination of the concept of the individual in times of territorial conflicts in Eastern Europe. The perception of female and male, of young and old, of now and then is blurred on the picture surface by numerous applied layers of paint in orange with white and red with violet. “Persona” is a current analysis of facial depictions in Italian art history of the early 16th century.
