In 2003, the then Kent Institute of Art and Design was undergoing refurbishment. As part of this process, the Herbert Read Gallery was closed for some months and published a paper called ‘Cabin’, which acted as a means for national and international artists (who would’ve been exhibiting at the gallery) to get their work out there.
