This piece shows a Roman soldier, already in retreat, with his helmet under his arm, thinking and remembering the glorious past that his people lived. The word “invisible” in the title criticizes history itself and the ontology of the same historical events: does a past event, like a military victory, exist in itself in the distant future? Or is it gradually erased over time, until it is “invisible”?/ Esta pieza muestra a un soldado romano, ya en retirada, con el casco bajo el brazo, pensando y recordando en el pasado glorioso que vivió su pueblo. La palabra “invisible” en el título, hace una crítica hacia la historia en sí misma y a la ontología de los mismos hechos históricos: un hecho pasado, como una victoria militar, ¿existe en si misma en un futuro lejano? ¿O se borra poco a poco a lo largo del tiempo, hasta ser “invisible”?
